Where Was Rep. Harshman During Perverted Skit at NCHS?

“Silence in the face of evil is in itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless, not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act.”

-Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Natrona County School district has once again wasted your money, this time by using a taxpayer funded meeting to put on a skit that, if put on by the student body would have led to suspensions or expulsions.

Rep. Steve Harshman, NCHS teacher and Football CoachTeacher, football coach, and representative from HD37 Steve Harshman to our knowledge was NOT a participant in the now infamous skit, but as a faculty member we can assume he was in the audience, and he didn’t stand up as a representative of the people and demand it come to an immediate stop.

*Please note that at this time we cannot confirm whether or not Rep. Harshman was in attendance

Even if the (unconstitutional) SF-104 co-sponsor Rep. Harshman was not in attendance, he should have spoken out against the perverted skit.

Rep. Harshman should have scolded all involved for participating in a skit, that if performed by students, would have been cause for suspension or expulsion; as well as not being good stewards with the taxpayers’ money. -As this took place in the tax payer funded NCHS gymnasium, and all faculty was being paid to attend this meeting-.

You can read the script to the inappropriate skit–admitted to IN the video of the skit by its participants- here.

You can watch the video below **We encourage you to watch this while little eyes and ears are not present, each family has a moral standard, and this very well may be something you do not want your children to see or hear**

If Rep. Harshman was in attendance, why didn’t he get out of his seat, go down to the principal, take the microphone away and say “Enough!”, and demand the skit stop immediately?

If he was not there, why would he not publicly say so, to put his HD37 constituents at ease?

As a teacher and football coach he should have said something, and as a representative of the people he should have stood up and spoke out against such perversion, both at the meeting (if he was in fact in attendance) and publicly.

Rep. Harshman won the Republican primary on August 19th, but is being challenged by an Independent candidate, Edis Allen.

Because Rep. Harshman is being challenged in the general election, the Natrona County GOP will be deciding how much money they want to give to his campaign.

Perhaps it is time to contact Natrona County GOP Chairwoman, Bonnie Foster at chairman@natronagop.com and ask her if this is the way our Republican lawmakers should conduct themselves.

Rep. Harshman’s voting record shows he does not vote in line with the Republican platforms, and his deafening silence in the wake of this wretched skit, speaks volumes of his morals and character.

On a side note, the Natrona County High School principal, Dean Kelly has resigned in light of all this… but will remain employed with the school district… You and I still get to pay his salary.

Will the corruption with Natrona County School District ever end?

And what of Rep. Harshman?

Co-Sponsoring unconstitutional bills, voting wrong on key education issues, remaining silent in the face of perverted scandal at the school he teaches and coaches at…

Will Rep. Steve Harshman ever do the right thing?
